Size details: Base Size is 1 5/8"(41 x 41mm square).The tapered square base that fits into the tripod base is 1-5/8" x 1-5/8" (41mm x 41mm) dimensions on the bottom (that fits inside the opening in the mount head of the tripod). Has 1/4 inch Camera Mounting Screw that fits most cameras and camcorders and cell phone tripod adapters.
Premium Material: The camera mount adapter plates is made of premium PVC material. The middle anti-twist locking screw is made of aluminum material. The surface is finely oxidize, and strong. With standard 1/ 4 inch screw, and the screws on the quick release mount bottom could help you install faster.
Compatibilty: Compatible with Ambico V-0550 V-0551 V-0552 V-0553 fluid type head only(Has bubble level on tripod head), Sunpak 7500 Pro 7500tm 7575, Kalimar Pro-Tech V-40 etc.Please measure your Ambico tripod head, see descriptions for example of correct tripod and the measurements. This is for the FLUID TYPE HEAD ONLY (Does not fit the Non-Fluid Head).
A small number of Ambico fluid head tripod V-055* tripods have a slight manufacturing error. To resolve this, sand off a small amount of plastic from the base of the plate, specifically on the beveled sides. Alternatively, you can adjust the tripod opening where the plate fits. This will ensure a proper fit and optimal functioning.

You could adjust the slotted screw with your fingers or tools.
